Easy 3 Wire installation:
With alarm: Red wire to Permanent +12V, Black to Ground, Yellow to armed ground output on alarm
Without alarm: Red wire to Permanent +12V, Black to Ground, White to switched +12V from ignition
When used without an alarm the scanner simply comes on as soon as you turn the ignition off
