Save those expensive bumpers, with the design of modern cars and with more and more obstacles around these days it?s all to easy to reverse into a low wall or post in a car park. With colour coded bumpers costing around ?5-700 with painting and fitting, reversing sensors have become a vital safeguard.

Activated automatically when you put your car into reverse gear the on dash display will warn you visually and audibly in three different ways depending on how close you are to an object:

Safe Zone: 100 to 150cm from object (regular beeps and flashing display)
Warning Zone: 50 to 90cm from object (faster beeps and fast flashing display)
Alert Zone: 0 to 40cm from object (continuous sound and display)

The sensors are sealed waterproof units which are mounted in the rear bumper of the car and may be painted to exactly match vehicle colour. We have even included a special hole cutting drill bit for cutting the holes into the bumper.

The ultrasonic radar sensors have wide angle detection to prevent side impact when reversing into garages etc and temperature compensation to keep consistent range in extreme weather conditions.

Very easy installation, sensors and display just plug in to the main unit with only 2 wires to connect to reversing light! Includes fitting kit, hole cutter drill bit and installation instructions.

Sensor Positioning: Sensors should be installed with a gap of between 30cm and 40cm between each sensor and at a height of between 50cm and 80cm from ground.

Detecting range: Horizontal 80 degrees, Vertical 70 degrees
Make sure no parts of the vehicle come within the detecting range, eg. towbars and rear mounted spare wheels.

Cable length: Main unit to dashboard unit 6 Metres, Main unit to sensors 2.5 Metres
